By the end of the first Frieza vs Goku arc, I had aged about 60 years in a week. That is pretty much what the Lakers winning again has done to me thus far this season. I’m now 147 years old. Like Frieza, it took a Super Saiyan to bring down King James last night. LeBron James is the Frieza of the NBA, and Nikola Jokic might be the closest thing to a Super Saiyan we have.
You literally, can't. Make. This. Up. As the Ls increased and the Spirit L Bomb increased, so did the Nuggets' lead over the Lakers last night. If you don't believe in the power of the Per Sources community at this point, idk what to tell you. Last night was EPIC. Love you guys. pic.twitter.com/Gu1pIq84wv

The Denver Nuggets (14-7):
It’s official, headbands are in. Paul Milsap’s 20-11 paired with Murray and Beasley’s 20 a piece propelled the Denver Nuggets past the Los Angeles Lakers. The Nuggets are as good as I predicted they would be. They share the basketball, defend, and win games. If they can get healthy, they’re going to be an absolute problem in the playoffs. People forget that they have several injuries across their roster. The Nuggets could be the second best team in the Western Conference. It’s too early to tell though. We still need to see if Isaiah Thomas and Michael Porter Jr. can contribute this season.
The Detroit Pistons (11-7):
Blake Griffin.
Other stories around the NBA:
Turns out Kevin Knox’s NBA Summer League performance did not guarantee him a regular season MVP campaign. 30 GM’s should be drug tested for not drafting Allonzo Trier. If you combine Alex Len’s and Jeremy Lin’s last names, you get Lenlin or Linlen; not sure which of the two is better. Starting to think the Grizzlies may not be heading to the NBA Finals anymore. The Raptors have already won 18 games. The Lakers have played 20 games. Apparently yesterday was not a fluke, Doug McDermott is actually still in the NBA. Damantas Sabonis is very underrated.
The only question left for James is, will he rise prematurely only to be sliced up by Victor Oladipo, or will he emerge as the Golden James.
