That’s how I felt after my week 5 picks. How strange is this season? No one can win consistently. What’s happened to the Green Bay Packers? Is Aaron Rodgers no longer the elite game-winner we’re all used to seeing? Will Jared Goff and the Rams go 16-0 this season? All of these questions should have some answers by now, but the NFL is so hard to predict right now.
Record Against the Spread Entering Week 6: 30-43-4
Thursday Night Football
The Eagles went into East Rutherford in a division matchup with the New York Giants. Eli Manning had been struggling while rookie RB Saquon Barkley had been putting up monster numbers. Philly came into the game with a lot of questions surrounding them. Their season could basically be over with a loss to the New York Football Giants. A classic Eli Manning embarrassing performance and an O’dell Beckham Jr meltdown later, the Eagles took home an easy victory, 34-13, over the G-Men. They took the victory and the -1.5 cover to move us to 1-0 on the week.
